Jason Parks - CEO Managing Partner - Orchestrations, Organs, Virtual Instruments (VST), Vocals

Jason is often seen juggling many responsibilities on and off stage during a production. Not only is he the manager of the band, he plays keyboards, orchestration arrangements, organs, horn lines (when EAS does not have the horn section) and lends his vocals.

His duties offstage keep him busy as well working as the Manager, Technical Advisor and Webmaster for EAS.

Jason prides himself in perfecting the orchestrations as close to note for note as possible. Having two separate keyboardists gives EAS a truly authentic sound unmatched in the industry.

As of September 2007, Jason has taken the orchestrations to a whole new realistic level. He has incorporated computer programs (Reason, Vienna Strings, Steinberg HALion Symphonic Orchestra & EASTWEST Symphonic Orchestra). The sounds produced by these programs are REAL instruments. No more "synth" sounding orchestras, violins, horns, bells, etc. So when you hear a violin part being played, it is the sound of a real violin. The authentic sound that EAS prides itself on, just got even better....thanks to technology!

Jason is the youngest member of EAS, (34) but in 2008 will be celebrating his 20th year in EAS for he officially joined the band in 1988. He is the last of the original members of EAS after his father and founder of the band retired in 2006 and long time bassist Steve Fifer retired in 2007.  Jason is committed to always having the best product on stage and to lead the industry in authenticity. Jason and his business partner John are always looking for ways to take EAS to higher levels and are driven to do so.

Jason performs with Korg keyboards (N264 & Triton Pro), E-MU Controllers, Vienna Strings VST Software, Reason Software, HP Computers, JBL monitoring & Alesis Mixing console.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE....

Jason is a multi-instrumentalist as well. His primary instrument is drums while he also plays the trumpet. Jason has toured with other acts as a drummer and was signed in 2001 to a division of Sony Records.

Jason currently performs with the worship team at Lincolnway Christian Church (pictured at right) and works with the church youth group with his cousin Steve Ashum.

Jason is currently working as a cameraman & project manager with LMNO Productions out of Encino, CA on a Discovery Health Channel hour long documentary based on his brother Jamie and sister-in-law Lynn in their quest to run the Boston Marathon in April 2008, while Jamie pushes Lynn in a wheelchair.  This is due to air December 2008.

Jason is the web designer of the EAS website and offers affordable web design to anyone in need of a professional website. He has also designed the websites for both of his brothers.

He currently is a resident of New Lenox, IL with his wife of 14 years, Jennifer, 10 year old daughter Kaylee and 9 year old son Jacob.
